IRIS SCRIPT IS launching this April! After many drafts and countless cups of caramel macchiatos (double shot, please), I’m so excited to bring you a new digital workbook featuring my very own modern style.
Modern calligraphy, also referred to as hand lettering, sets itself apart from traditional calligraphy because of the breadth of creative freedom that it offers. This lack of fundamental rules often gets me a little lost (too many options), but it’s also a great opportunity to develop style.
Inspired by Copperplate, Iris Script is a modern calligraphy that is perfect for beginner and veteran calligraphers, alike, looking to set aside classic precision in favor of an organic, romantic style. Iris Script e-workbook will include both uppercase and lowercase letterforms, numbers and symbols, letter connection, and more.
Can’t wait until April? You can start learning now with Uppercase A Worksheet. Leading up to the e-workbook release day, I’ll be releasing a new worksheet every week (6 total, uppercase A, B, C and lowercase a, b, c) for you to try-before-you-buy.
I hope you can join me.
Script with style,
